An exciting opportunity has arisen for a committed Safeguarding Manager who is passionate about ensuring that all our pupils flourish in a safe environment. The individual will be required to assist the Assistant Principal (Character, Conduct and Welfare KS4) and Principal in taking a lead on safeguarding and child protection across the school, and act as Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead in a team delivering a professional and high-quality service that actively engages with children, young people and their families.
We are looking for someone to work in partnership with parents/carers and multi-agencies on all arrangements for the safeguarding and wellbeing of children; to advise and support other members of staff on child welfare, safeguarding and child protection matters; and to provide support to pupils, students and their families to overcome barriers to achieving their full potential.
The successful candidate will be suitably qualified and ideally be an existing Designated Safeguarding Lead. They will have proven experience of effecting a positive change in the lives of children, young people and their families through partnerships and multi-agency working.
