We are looking for a fully qualified counsellor to join us a Safeguarding Officer working within the Student Services Team providing support services to students. 


As the successful candidate you will be expected to provide safeguarding services to students, picking up safeguarding cases as required, as well as managing a counselling caseload and support policy developments for both safeguarding and counselling. 


You will be expected to deliver a range of workshops with a preventative focus to enhance emotional wellbeing, increase self-esteem and support the tutorial process. 


A BACP accredited counselling qualification (minimum Diploma level) is essential for this role, alongside  having experience of providing a counselling service to a wide range of clients from all backgrounds and ethnic groups. Experience of working with young people is essential.
