Weekly hours: 34.5 hours per week
Working hours: 39 weeks per year (term time only + 5 training days)
We are seeking a Safeguarding Officer to work as part of the Student Support Team to promote learning and welfare of vulnerable students and those who experience barriers to learning. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and have the ability to build effective working relationships with colleagues at all levels. They will also have experience of working in an education environment with young people with specific difficulties and vulnerabilities.
They will also have first-rate organisational and ICT skills and the ability to multi task and manage a number of conflicting priorities in order to support all related matters.
