Welcome to Chiltern Way Academy Prestwood. We are a secondary SEMH provision, educating and caring for young people from the age of 11 - 16.

We believe that character development, building confidence and resilience play a significant role in our students’ ability to learn and achieve. We aim to provide an education with breadth, that enables students to explore and develop their own beliefs, develop an awareness of themselves, develop their social skills,  resilience and their love for learning.

We focus on:

  • Equipping      students with life skills so they can be independent.
  • ​Providing      students with first-rate knowledge of the workplace and how to make a      positive contribution to their community and society.
  • Inspiring      them through a curriculum that embeds knowledge, skills, and meets the      needs, interests, and abilities of all.

The Prestwood Campus is a modern, well equipped school standing in five acres of parkland on the edge of the village of Prestwood. Above and beyond our specialist teaching areas there are onsite facilities including a sports hall, fitness suite, multi-use games area (Muga), football pitches, vocational classrooms, a games room and sensory room.
