WHO WE ARE:
- The Adult, Community and ESOL Team deliver a range of exciting courses to our diverse learners in the heart of our community. From Maths and English to flower arranging and dress making, there is something for everyone! We're revitalising our department and are recruiting two School Admin Officers to provide services across our community campuses. We're looking for dynamic and vibrant professionals who are able to engage with and support our learners. Never worked in a college? That's okay! We're looking for your skills, experience, and ability to make our students feel welcome in our centres, acting as the first point of contact and face that they see - and we have a range of learning and development opportunities for you, too! Our Campuses are: Rothwell, Deacon House, and Enfield. We will consider full or part time hours across our working day of 8.30am-9.00pm Monday to Thursday, 8.30-4pm Fridays and 8.30-3.00pm on Saturdays, which can be discussed during the interview process.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- You will support the curriculum administration for an identified area of the schools activity, including systems and processes.
- You will support student enrolments within the School and work with the central MIS/Marketing teams throughout enrolment periods.
- You will ensure appropriate systems are in place to manage electronic files.
- You will work collaboratively with other schools to ensure a coordinated approach to relevant systems and processes, including cover and support, catering for fluctuating workloads and absences.
- You will support the School with Curriculum Planning including timetabling and course profiling.
- You will support curriculum staff with students records.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- You should have experience of working in a customer focused role and of using Pro-solution.
- You should have experience of keeping student records up to date as well as maintaining student record systems to deliver profiling, timetabling, rooming and registers.
- You will have knowledge of the enrolment process and be used to working under pressure and of managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
- You will have a high level of problem solving skills and able to work under your own initiative with strong IT and data manipulation and reporting skills.
- You will have excellent communication skills.
