Job title:      School Administrator

Location:         Red Moor School, Churchtown, Lanlivery

Salary:             £19,940.66 per annum (pre-tax take home salary, not pro rata)

Hours:       42.5 hours per week; Monday to Friday 8am to 4.30pm

Contract:         Permanent; Term Time only

We now have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced School Administrator to join our team at Red Moor School.

Who are we looking for?

Red Moor School are looking for a creative, resilient and enthusiastic School Administrator to join our growing school and existing Administration team. Above all else we are looking for someone with the right attitude and outlook.

Essential:

  • Using multiple information management systems and communication software. 
  • Good communication skills in a variety of formats.
  • Proactive approach to administration, a high level of organisation skills, and the ability to multi-task. 

The job is more than just admin, and so the willingness to get involved the whole-school ethos is essential. As the first and main point of contact for the school, the ability to represent the school positively in sometimes quite challenging circumstances is essential.

Desirable

  • Experience in working within a school/ office environment.
  • Commitment to personal development and training.
  • Ability to adapt to existing procedures and review regularly to ensure the office runs efficiently.

About the School

Red Moor School is an independent special educational needs provision near Bodmin, Cornwall. The school facilitates tailored support for up to 60 pupils aged 5-18 whose needs are predominantly SEMH and ASD related.

The school opened in September 2020 and has recently gone through significant refurbishment to allow our students to further benefit from our fantastic location and creativity of our staff team. The working day can be great fun and varied but can also be challenging.

Red Moor School is a specialist provision positioned near Lanlivery in mid-Cornwall. The school provides full-time specialist co-education for up to 36 children aged 5-16 who have social, emotional, mental health and communication difficulties or associated behaviours that challenge.
