Job overview

The Elms is a thriving independent school on the Nottinghamshire/Derbyshire Border and caters for children from 6 weeks to 11 years of age. As our School Administrator, you will provide support to the leadership team and be essential in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the Nursery’s administration, creating a welcoming and organised environment.

To be successful, you will be highly organised with experience in a similar administrative role. You should be approachable, welcoming, and able to deal with parents dropping off and collecting their children from the nursery in a caring manner. You should be able to manage your time effectively and be able to prioritise. You must be able to work well in a team. 

Salary is commensurate with experience. Benefits of the role include a generous fee discount for children attending the school (at both The Elms and Trent College), use of the school’s dining and excellent sports facilities and free on-site parking.
