School Administrator - SEN School (Keighley) - full time contract September 2017
We are seeking a proactive, experienced administrator to support the busy daily running of this school’s office - SIMS experience is a MUST for this role.
We require a staff member who is comfortable in a fast paced environment, confident dealing with phone calls, face to face enquiries, with strong IT skills and experience in the use of SIMS and Excel.
Working hours will initially be term time only between 8.15 and 3.30pm. This role is based in a client school in Keighley.
We will need DBS check and full referencing for this role with it being in a school setting. You will be skilled in problem solving, time management and prioritising.
The role will involve dealing with requests from parents, children, staff members, SLT, other schools, LA and outside agencies. We require an upbeat and positive manner, excellent team-working skills and attention to detail.
The role will be split between front of house, financial and clerical duties
Experience of working in an administration capacity in a school, or other educational / customer facing environment, is ESSENTIAL for this role, as well as SIMS experience.
This is a temporary assignment, initially for 1-2 terms through Vision for Education. There may be an opportunity to apply for a fixed term or permanent contract after the initial period is over.
