Galiema Amien - Cloete, Executive Head Teacher, seek to employ an outstanding individual as Bursar at Rotherhithe Primary.

The Bursar will report to the Executive Head Teacher and will manage the school’s finances and premises.

The successful candidate will be an outstanding strategic thinker who has the capacity to motivate staff. The successful candidate will possess the gravitas to win the respect of staff, parents and other stakeholders. A substantial track record of successful financial management experience is essential as are commercial acumen, strong intellectual abilities and a deep commitment to the aims and vision of Rotherhithe Primary.

These posts are exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974

Are you experienced in schools finance systems?
Do you have knowledge of MIS systems?
Are you able to effectively promote and develop positive, professional relationships with staff, pupils and parents?
Do you work effectively as part of the existing team to promote good outcomes for all children?
Are you proactive and do you show initiative in your current role? Use time effectively?
Are you able to monitor, track and implement strategies to ensure good financial outcomes?
Are you willing to follow advice and act upon this as to improve your own skills and knowledge?
