Job overview

This is an exciting opportunity to join our small friendly Finance team in a large 11 – 18 secondary school. We are seeking a suitably skilled and experienced individual with excellent financial administration, IT and communication skills to join our busy office with immediate effect. Accurate, well organized, flexible and reliable, you will enjoy working in an accounting environment and you will have excellent attention to detail. The post includes purchase ledger administration as well as administration of the monthly payroll process for teachers, liaising with staff, the Accountant and the school’s payroll bureau. A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential and experience of accounting packages such as SIMS would be an advantage. The successful candidate will have GCSE English and Maths C grade or above or equivalent as a minimum.
