Hours: 30 hours per week, term time only, plus 5 days, permanent

The Governors of Burraton C.P. School wish to appoint a School Business Manager to play a key strategic role in the administration and leadership of our happy and successful school. The appointed person will be a member of the Senior Leadership team and will report directly to the Head Teacher.

The main purpose of the job is to lead and manage all aspects of the school’s non-teaching function including finance, administration, personnel, facilities, communications and health and safety.

The appointed person will be expected to demonstrate strategic thinking, direction setting and outstanding people management skills. You will be an effective communicator, able to build and sustain positive relationships at all levels and work under pressure to meet deadlines. You will be a confident, entrepreneurial and experienced leader who can function well as part of a team and be adaptable to change. You will also be highly organised, possess excellent IT skills and will ensure best value is achieved in all aspects of your work. You will demonstrate energy, commitment and passion within our school setting on a daily basis, leading by example and promoting the school ethos of aspiration and determination.

Previous senior leadership, and staff and data/financial management experience within an educational setting is essential. Visits to our school are welcome. We have two dates available for visits: 28.03.18 at 10.00am and 18.04.18 at 11.00am.
