Job overview
We are seeking to appoint an experienced and highly motivated School Business Manager to join our leadership team and play a central role in shaping the operational and financial direction of the college.
This is a key leadership role with responsibility for financial management, HR, premises, and operational systems. The successful candidate will ensure the school is financially sustainable, compliant, and effectively resourced to support high-quality teaching and learning.
Working closely with the Headteacher, governors, and external partners, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across all business functions, ensuring best value and driving continuous improvement in systems and processes. Your work will directly enable staff to focus on delivering outstanding outcomes for students.
We are looking for a professional who has significant experience in financial and operational management, strong analytical and organisational skills, and the ability to operate strategically within a leadership team. You will demonstrate integrity, attention to detail, and the ability to build strong, effective working relationships.
