School Business Manager

The ContinU Plus Academy is an innovative and exciting Alternative Provision Secondary Free School based in Kidderminster. Our academy is now in its eighth year, and has achieved a Good grading in all categories at Ofsted. We think that we are now outstanding.

We are a highly moral educational provider for vulnerable and disengaged students in the Wyre Forest and Hagley area. All staff here are deeply committed to the wellbeing safeguarding and academic progress of our pupils. We work together as a close knit team to ensure pupils at our school receive high quality and bespoke educational provision. This is a very exciting time to join our school and join with us to make a substantial difference to the lives of our pupils.

The school business manager (SBM) is responsible for managing the strategy and operation of the business functions of our school, including financial management, health and safety, human resources, compliance and administration. Both strategic and operational, our School Business Manager should be proactive and a positive force for a real change in our pupils lives. 

They will advise on and implement the day-to-day support that enables the school to operate effectively and efficiently, and that allows other members of the leadership team to focus on teaching and learning.

As the ContinU Plus Academy is a small school of no more than 100 pupils the School business manager will also oversee the smooth running of the school office.
