West SILC is seeking to appoint a School Business Manager to start as soon as possible. We cater for pupils between the ages of 2 and 19 with a range of special educational needs and learning difficulties and disabilities, who are based on specialist sites and mainstream partnership schools (7 sites in total) including two hydrotherapy pools:

·        Milestone;

·        The Powerhouse (including Studio and Hub), Springfield Mills, Farsley;

·        The Foundry, Sunnybank Mills, Farsley;

·        Co-operative Academy Priesthorpe;

·        Farnley Academy

·        Hollybush Primary School

·        Area Inclusion Partnership – West 11 and West 14.

This is an exciting and challenging opportunity for a skilled and experienced individual to work as part of the leadership team to make a significant contribution to the long-term strategic success of the whole SILC.

 You will be responsible for:

·        Ensuring financial stability including developing business and financial partnerships to secure new sources of funding;

·        The management and maintenance of the buildings, facilities, and grounds, including health and safety.

·        Lead and develop the administrative staff team that support the SILC – Human resources; office staff; site staff and ICT.

 As an effective team player, you will have a proven track record of success in a similar role, together with relevant qualifications and outstanding interpersonal and communication skills. You will have the ability to combine practical, organisational, financial and project management skills.
