West SILC is seeking to appoint a School Business Manager to start as soon as possible. We cater for pupils between the ages of 2 and 19 with a range of special educational needs and learning difficulties and disabilities, who are based on specialist sites and mainstream partnership schools (7 sites in total) including two hydrotherapy pools:

·        Milestone;

·        The Powerhouse (including Studio and Hub), Springfield Mills, Farsley;

·        The Foundry, Sunnybank Mills, Farsley;

·        Co-operative Academy Priesthorpe;

·        Farnley Academy

·        Hollybush Primary School

·        Area Inclusion Partnership – West 11 and West 14.

This is an exciting and challenging opportunity for a skilled and experienced individual to work as part of the leadership team to make a significant contribution to the long-term strategic success of the whole SILC.

 You will be responsible for:

·        Ensuring financial stability including developing business and financial partnerships to secure new sources of funding;

·        The management and maintenance of the buildings, facilities, and grounds, including health and safety.

·        Lead and develop the administrative staff team that support the SILC – Human resources; office staff; site staff and ICT.

 As an effective team player, you will have a proven track record of success in a similar role, together with relevant qualifications and outstanding interpersonal and communication skills. You will have the ability to combine practical, organisational, financial and project management skills. We will offer you professional development opportunities and a very supportive and caring team of staff.
