Crown Lane Primary School has a full time School Business Manager vacancy to join our team as soon as possible.

Crown Lane is a two form entry community primary school with an inclusive unit for children with autism. In addition, we provide free services for families and children under 5 years old from our Children’s Centre Hub at the Lodge and at The United Reform Church in Streatham.  We are dedicated to improving the lives of local children, young people and their families.

The headteacher and governing body are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, committed and highly motivated School Business Manager to lead on Finance, Facilities, HR and Administration.

This post would be suited to someone who has strong supervisory, organisational, communication and numeracy skills to effectively meet the demands of the post and be committed to delivering high service standards.

The hours of work will be 35 hours per week all year round. 

The role includes:

  • Preparing and managing the school budget
  • Managing and supporting the premises team in developing robust practice ensuring compliance in all areas.
  • Managing a range of diverse activities.

We want to hear from candidates who have:

  • A School Business Manager Qualification or similar
  • Sound Financial knowledge and experience
  • Successful management experience
  • An understanding of procurement, risk assessment and health and safety
  • Excellent IT skills.
