The Governors of Loreto High School Chorlton seek to appoint a well-qualified, committed, energetic, experienced, high calibre School Business Manager to join our school.  This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated leader with outstanding potential to continue their leadership journey in our well led, collaborative, ambitious and vibrant school. The position is an integral part of the school’s leadership team and as such, the successful candidate will work with the Headteacher and other senior and middle leaders to drive forward the Governors’ and Loreto Trust Board’s vision for the improvement of the school. They will lead the development, implementation and review of the school’s business, support services and operational services, including Finance, HR, Health & Safety, Buildings and Facilities, ICT and other administrative systems. You will lead a large multidisciplinary support team. Prospective candidates should currently hold or be working towards a relevant School Business Management Qualification ie Certificate of Diploma in School Business Management or similar.

This role will suit an enthusiastic and inspirational individual who enjoys working as part of a dedicated team and will provide the opportunity to excel in a supportive environment. Prospective candidates should have proven strong and effective leadership and management skills, the ability to make a strategic contribution to the school’s leadership team, have excellent organisational, communication and negotiation skills with both internal and external audiences and have the ability to drive forward and motivate staff. The successful candidate will be self-aware, open to development and believe, like we do, that ‘feedback is a gift’ and be passionate about making a real difference in the lives of our students.
