Job overview
We require a highly motivated and enthusiastic person, with suitable experience to provide strategic leadership and management of all business and support services of the College to ensure the College remains compliant with regards to the statutory regulation and efficient operations across financial management, human resources, health & safety, compliance and PFI contractual management.
The successful candidate should have good communication skills and the ability to relate to students, teachers, parents and other professionals.
The ideal candidate will:
• Be a strong leader with the ability to challenge and implement policy and procedure in order to maintain regulation.
• Have experience of managing public sector financial transactions.
• Be able to demonstrate compliance and assess risk across all support functions of the College from health & safety to data information management.
• Thrive in a fast paced environment whilst maintaining accuracy and consistency.
• Have the desire to make a real difference to the lives of all of our students.

About Denton Community College
Located in the town of Denton, Greater Manchester, Denton Community College is a co-educational secondary school with places for around 1,350 pupils aged 11-16. It was founded in 2010 after the merger of two local schools, Egerton Park Arts College and Two Trees Sports College.
In 2012, having previously been spread across two sites, the school opened a brand-new purpose-built site.
