Priory Rise School opened for the first time in September 2008. Our school serves the communities of Tattenhoe Park and South Kingsmead although until the housing is developed in these areas, children from our secondary catchment areas also attend Priory Rise. The secondary catchment areas are Kingsmead and Tattenhoe.

In September 2008 we opened with our very first three classes of children; we now have nearly 600 children on roll - and we will continue to grow until we reach our capacity of 630 children plus a 30 (FTE) nursery!

The school admission number for each year group is 90 - with the exception of the current Year 3, 5 and 6 each of which have an admission number of 60.

The school is located to the west of the V1 between the H7 and H8 grid roads, it is an imaginative, exciting place with wonderful facilities and features including a large, full height library, a music room, an art/technology room, a full size kitchen, a community room, an internal courtyard garden, wonderful outside playing facilities and fabulous dedicated Foundation Stage play areas.
