Vision for Education is seeking to appoint a School Business Manager to work in a local primary school in the North Tyneside area. This would be commencing in February 2022 and is likely to continue until December 2022, this is to cover their current business managers maternity cover.

The role

The desired candidate will have prior knowledge and experience of working within a school office. Because this is a busy and fast paced environment, it is essential that the successful candidate have experience of: School finance, SIMs, bank reciliation, statutory inspections, ordering and processing invoices. Pre-employment checks including an enhanced DBS disclosure will be carried out in relation to successful candidates. Two satisfactory employment references will also be required. This will be a part time position working 2 to 3 days per week, the hours per day will be 8am – 4pm. The days are flexible and will be discussed upon application.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are minimum of a NQT Level 2 in Admin (or equivalent) and the successful applicant must have prior experience of working in an office manager/ school business manager role. 

Requirements

To be considered for the Admin Assistant position, you will:

• Hold a minimum of a NVQ Level 2 

• Have experience of working in a school office

• Experience of SIMs
