Our federation is seeking to appoint a highly skilled Business Manager. The role includes an extensive range of responsibilities that will require a broad set of skills, relevant qualifications, enthusiasm and resilience.  We require a meticulous individual who will have overall responsibility for HR procedures over multiple settings, but will also be required to carry out tasks related to finances, overseeing facilities management, Health and Safety, administrative functions and safeguarding. 

The successful candidate will be a valued staff member who will interact with a range of stakeholders including staff, governors, parents, pupils and other advisors. You will need to be highly organised, work well as part of a team and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 

The ideal candidate will have: 

• CSBM qualification, although this is not essential, candidates should have a willingness to undertake the qualification or be in the process of obtaining it. 

• Sound experience of financial management 

• A good understanding and knowledge of human resources management and payroll 

• An understanding of facilities management, including health and safety 

• An ability to identify, research and develop, cost and implement new initiatives
