Site Maintenance Officer/Caretaker

Grade 4 £5,100 - £5,300 (£9.81 - £10.21 per hour) / 10 hours per week (ideally mornings but flexible) / 52 weeks per year 

We wish to appoint a Site Maintenance Officer/Caretaker to help us to keep our buildings and grounds safe and well presented for pupils, parents, staff and visitors.  

The duties will involve general maintenance and minor repairs; building security; monitoring and operating the heating system; liaising with contractors and carrying out health and safety compliance checks.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate appropriate technical and practical skills, the ability to work to a high standard with good communication skills. 

The holiday entitlement is 25 days per year, rising to 30 days with service.  There is a generous pension and a cycle to work scheme.  You will have a thorough induction to help you to settle into school life and be supported by a collaborative school team with a strong teamwork ethic.
