37 hrs/week 44.3 weeks/year – Term Time Only
We are looking for someone to cover for our school chaplain while she takes maternity leave. The successful applicant will contribute to the pastoral care of students, as well as to the liturgical spiritual life of the school.
The post is during school term time only and can be offered part-time or full-time. (up to 37 hours per week). Duties will be commensurate with the time employed.
Applicants should be a practising Catholic with suitable enthusiasm and relevant background to continue the work of the chaplaincy. Full support and training will be provided.
St. John Payne is an outstanding Catholic school. We are a friendly, supportive and popular, mixed 11-18 comprehensive, with a Sixth form in excess of 200 students. The school enjoys an excellent academic reputation and its pastoral work is highly praised.
