The successful applicant will:

  • have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education;
  • currently hold or be eligible to hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card; and
  • be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.

We are seeking a cleaner to ensure the tidiness and hygiene of St Brigid’s school both within the rooms, and in the external spaces. The successful applicant will be self directed, trustworthy, proactive and will identify themselves as an important part of our staff, who is necessary for the effective running of our school. Duties include: Maintain a clean and safe school environment Cleaning internal and external areas Locking all windows, doors and turning off lights Reporting any issues or damage as required This position is 20 Hours per week, fixed term position (Term 1 - 3). The applicant should hold a working with children approval blue card or be eligible to obtain one. Start date in February, 2019 to be negotiated.


St Brigid's Catholic Primary School is approximately 20 kilometres west of Ipswich. This position involves working with children.  The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child related employment in accordance with the law.
