We invite applications for the role of School Counsellor. This is an integral role in supporting the development and well-being of all our students. The successful applicant will work closely with the Pastoral, Academic and Learning Support teams to help give students as they progress through the school.
Depending on the quality and experience of the applicant, there may be potential leadership opportunities available
The closing date for applications will be 1st January 2019 for interviews in January 2019. Candidates may be interviewed prior to January in exceptional circumstances.

Person Specification (minimum):
• Bachelor degree in Counselling, Psychology or Social Work
• Post graduate qualifications in Counselling
• A minimum of 2 years' experience in School Counselling or in relative field work (social care) in a UK Curriculum school preferably from an independent school background but not essential
• Strong professional skills underpinned by sound theoretical knowledge
• Motivated and committed to promoting mental health and experience of this
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Personable, presentable and articulate
• Excellent English language skills required
• Arabic language is a plus
• Passion, Integrity and Commitment
