Part time, 28 hours per week, term time only plus 15.5 days

Brighton Girls is looking to appoint a well-qualified Counsellor to work alongside our pastoral team, developing, delivering and managing the provision of counselling to pupils across the 3-18 age range.

You will also deliver training to teaching staff so that such staff can understand the mental health needs of pupils, supervise counsellors working in school and contribute to the submission of referrals to CAMHS and Children’s Services.

With previous experience gained as a Counsellor within a school setting, the successful candidate will possess a Diploma in Counselling or Psychotherapy and an understanding of issues regarding children’s mental health.
