We are seeking to appoint a School Counsellor/Child Protection Officer to work as part of our friendly support team. As School Counsellor you will provide a professional and confidential service to students in order to promote emotional health and wellbeing and help students to overcome barriers to learning. In addition, the School Counsellor will be expected to fulfil the role of Child Protection Officer. As the Child Protection Officer you will work under the direction of the Designated Safeguarding Lead to deliver and maintain a robust and confidential Child Protection Service.

Applicants must have a counselling qualification at diploma or equivalent recognised by the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (or be working towards accreditation).
