School Guidance Counsellor

Full time | Fixed term | Immediate start to December 2024

The Guidance Counsellor will work collaboratively with school communities to provide a counselling service that facilitates learning outcomes for students and enables quality teaching. 

The ideal candidate will have a relevant tertiary qualification in Psychology or Guidance Counselling coupled with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role. They will possess effective relationship building and influencing skills; advanced interpersonal and communication skills; proven and effective leadership skills; and will be committed to the values and ethos of the Catholic faith.

With an option to be based at Goondiwindi or St George, the Guidance Counsellor will provide counselling service to the following schools:

• St Mary's Parish School, Goondiwindi
• St Patrick's School, St George
• St Maria Goretti Primary School, Inglewood

This role will include paid travel time, further details can be obtained from the Role Description.
