Outwood Academy Ormesby are looking to recruit a suitably qualified and experienced HR Assistant who can work in a fast-paced environment. You should be organised, professional, flexible and display excellent communication skills.  

Supporting the Business Manager in all aspects of HR and payroll, you will be responsible for administering the Academy payroll function, as well as dealing with day-to-day enquiries in regards to HR/payroll matters. In addition, you will take care of monitoring and recording staff absence, organising and minute taking at meetings and administering the full recruitment process including pre-employment checks for all new staff.  For full post details, please refer to the job description linked below. 

To be successful, you will need demonstrable experience of prioritising workload, time management, and dealing with conflicting priorities. All work must be presented to a high standard with special care and attention given to detail.  

The role requires working at pace and the ability to prioritise and work well under pressure. Previous HR experience is essential and needs to be demonstrated within your application form.

We are an 11-16 academy based in the large, north-east town of Middlesbrough.

The academy received a good judgement in their 2017 Ofsted inspection. However in July 2022 the academy was given a notice to improve judgement.
