Avon House is a lively, independent, co-educational day school of around 275 pupils aged 3 to 11, situated in Woodford Green on the Essex/East London border.

The school has a Christian (non-denominational) ethos but welcomes children of all faiths.  We aim to provide a happy, disciplined environment where emphasis is placed on the development of each child as an individual, allowing each one to realise their full academic potential and to achieve personal best in other areas such as sport, music, dance and drama.

Avon House is a family, concerned for the happiness and general well-being of all.  In our happy, secure environment the emphasis is placed on each child being recognised as a valued individual.  We hope our pupils will develop their full potential in both academic and non-academic fields, with a strong moral understanding of truth, equality and humanity.  We aim to give our pupils life-enhancing strategies to build on as they progress towards the adult world.

Avon House School offers creative and stimulating teaching enabling every child to shine.  We have excellent relationships with children and parents alike, and respond to the individual needs of each child.  A broad and balanced curriculum is delivered by an experienced and caring team of professional staff.

We offer a wide range of co-curricular activities as well as out of hours care (before and after school) and holiday clubs.
