Harris Federation is recruiting for various positions to join the COVID-19 Mass Testing Response Teams across our academy testing sites in and around London.
We are in urgent need of support with mandatory mass testing in our academies. We are looking to recruit for the following positions:
- Test Assistant
- Registration Assistant
- Processing Operative
- Results Recorder
- Bay/Queue Coordinator
- COVID-19 Coordinator
As a member of Academy support, you will join a team responsible for the overall on-site operations at the test site. Within your role, you will complete a wide range of general daily tasks such as ensuring subjects have registered and distributing test kits on arrival, ensuring orderly entry of subjects to the testing site, providing guidance or supervision to subjects on swabbing as requested, collecting completed swabs, processing test samples for analysis and recording results and ensuring that the site is set up efficiently.
You may also be responsible for ensuring cleaning of swabbing bays and the disposal of medical and biohazard waste, Full training and PPE will be provided in line with Health and Safety requirements.
Who we are looking for:
We are interested to hear from those with a background working in schools and are particularly interested to hear from those with experience in healthcare. However, this is not essential as training will be provided.
You will be required to work across various sites to assist the mass testing process within the borough and or designated area.
You will be required to work Monday to Friday (hours between 7 am and 5 pm).
