Job overview
We are looking for enthusiastic lunch time support staff to effectively supervise our children during lunch times. You will be working as part of a team, ensuring the health, safety and wellbeing of the children during lunch time whilst positively encouraging them to take part in playground games and activities. The role is crucial in supporting this important social time of day, ensuring an enjoyable experience at lunchtime for all the children.
We are looking for a candidate who has :
- the ability to work in a team and be an effective communicator
- the ability to supervise pupils in a caring, consistent and fair way
- the ability to support and develop pupils' social and play skills
- the ability to support children from a variety of backgrounds and children with additional educational needs
- the energy, patience and a genuine interest in working with children
