The Hill Primary Academy has an exciting opportunity for two School Meals Supervisory Assistants to join the team during our daily lunchtime period.
Key responsibilities:
- Support for Pupils
- Support for Teachers
- Support for the Curriculum
- Support for the Academy
Main duties:
- To oversee the children in the dining hall, ensuring that there is a safe environment at all times.
- To oversee the children in the playground during lunchtime, ensuring there is a safe environment at all times.
- To work as part of the lunchtime team.
- To actively promote the Academy’s positive behaviour policy and core values.
- To encourage a healthy lifestyle through active promotion of positive play and overseeing dinners.
Required Skills/Experience
We are looking for candidates who can display the following skills and experience:
- Previous experience working with children in a primary setting (Essential)
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team (Essential)
- Kind, caring and compassionate (Essential)
- First Aid Certificate (Desirable)

Last year the school opened a successful community hub that supports adult learning, mental health and wellbeing and a number ofopportunities for members of the community to come together for a collective cause.
