An exciting opportunity has arisen within Rotherham MAST, for an exceptional School Mental Health Specialist to join an experienced and highly motivated team of professionals.

We are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and talented professional to provide specialist mental health support: identifying need, shaping provision and delivering therapeutic services for children, young people, staff members and parents/carers.

The ideal candidate will:

·        be an experienced mental health practitioner/counsellor who has worked with children from 4-19 years, engaged in multi-agency forums and has an excellent understanding of child development.

·        Have a Diploma in Counselling and the skills and experience to create a therapeutic environment within which children and young people can thrive, and adults can feel supported.

·        have the passion to undertake research and development, and the ability to create learning experiences for others.

·        be committed to Maltby Learning Trust's Vision and Values and Key Drivers.

·        be a driven, proactive, and positive individual with an unwavering commitment to continuously improving their own standards.

·        have a true growth mindset, exceptional work ethic and a sense of humour.

·        have the knowledge and experience of the context in which Maltby Learning Trust operates.
