School Minibus Driver

St Nicholas’ School seeks to appoint, a Minibus Driver to work part-time casual hours according to the School’s need and the successful applicant’s availability. You will be an experienced driver with a clean Driving Licence. You will be part of the facilities team and will work alongside other members of the team at times.

Previous experience is advantageous but not essential. A D1 category on your licence is essential and an ability to be able to commit to a flexible pattern of ad-hoc working times. A lively sense of humour and a professional readiness to work with the team is important and will ensure job satisfaction in this post at St Nicholas’ School.

You will need to have a friendly, approachable manner and ideally be in possession of a valid First Aid Certificate. You should be able to work autonomously, demonstrate effective communication skills and react calmly and confidently in a crisis.

You must be capable of and enjoy working with children of all ages.

The School is registered with the DBS and successful applicants will be required to complete successfully the Disclosure procedure at the Enhanced level.
