An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Trust for a School Nurse Assistant, who will work across both our Primary and Secondary Schools. 

Key responsibilities will include: 

  • To communicate effectively with the school nursing team identifying and reporting any significant concerns regarding children and young people to the line manager.
  • To contribute to the planning and implementation of Health Care Plans within the primary and secondary Academies.
  • To liaise with teachers, SENCO’s, carers and parents to receive referrals and action as appropriate. 
  • To communicate sensitively and effectively with parents, carers and teachers feeding back the outcome of any requests for information or test results as appropriate under the direction of the line manager.
  • To attend and contribute with parent/carers’ meetings as required.
  • To provide accurate and up to date records of all meetings.
