We are a highly respected independent co-educational day and boarding school in South Croydon with c 965 pupils aged from 3-18.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic and innovative qualified School Nurse to join our team of three in our Medical Centre working with the School Doctor and Counsellor to support our pupils, including 130 boarders. You will provide a nursing and first-aid service to pupils and staff, care for minor injuries and illnesses, provide emergency medical treatment, and participate in the School Health Promotion and PHSE programmes to enhance pupil health and well-being.

You will be a Registered Nurse with at least two years’ post registration experience and have experience and knowledge of providing first aid and emergency care. Ideally you should have paediatric nursing experience.

Working hours are in accordance with the 3-week rota which provides for 3 days off a week. The rota covers the Centre opening hours of 7.30 am to 10.00 pm, Monday to Sunday plus some sleeping-in shifts in the Medical Centre when on call during the hours of 10.00 pm and 7.30 am.
