We have a vacancy for a full time, dynamic and motivated school nurse to join our evolving school team within Brooke school, at this very exciting time for our school. We need candidates with an awareness of the public health outcomes that are specific to our area and a commitment to work to improve these outcomes.
- You will be expected to enhance provision for children with medical needs by advising class teams on care plans, medical awareness training and appropriate medical provision. The successful candidate will also work with current school medical services and families to ensure clarity of medical provision and communication.
- You will need to have excellent communication skills, good clinical and managerial skills, be enthusiastic and willing to embrace new ways of working.
- You will also need to commit to working 5 days a week, term time only and have means to ensure that your nursing registration is maintained and regularly updated.
- We can offer a period of induction to the successful candidate and access to training opportunities related to special educational needs.
