 We are seeking to appoint a highly organised and professional individual to join our busy School Office team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Office Administrator or someone with the right skill set to work in a school with a friendly and supportive ethos. You must be articulate, well-presented and be flexible. Knowledge and experience of databases and Microsoft Office will be required. In addition to good social skills, the ability to be organised, punctual and efficient in managing workloads and time effectively is vital.

Previous school experience is desirable. Although no formal qualifications are required, you will have a good all round education, common sense, and be willing to get involved in all aspects of school/staff life.

Experience in an administration department would be desirable, as would experience of dealing with confidential information. 

You will be the first point of contact for many visitors and staff, so the ability to be resilient and tactful is essential. You will be able to exercise absolute discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality both within and beyond the School. You will be an excellent communicator, showing your interpersonal skills by maintaining a friendly and efficient office environment.

This post will be for 40 hours per week and hours will be 8.00am – 4.30pm on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday and 10:00 – 6:30pm on Thursday with 30 minutes (unpaid) for lunch each day.
