Job overview
We require an office assistant to join the team responsible for the effective and efficient administration services for the school. The successful applicant will be part of something new, exciting and innovative based on Silverstone Circuit. The role covers a broad range of administrative tasks and, as such, applicants should have flexible approach and a 'can do' attitude. The role will be very varied, but key tasks will include :-
- Covering Reception
- cash collecting
- filing
- purchase co’ordination
- scanning and photocopying
- answering telephones
- Ordering stationery and other office supplies
- supporting other members of the admin team
- Data entry and Management of SIMS
Criteria for this vacancy includes;
- Confident and polite communicator
- Good knowledge of maths/numeracy
- Good knowledge of written and spoken English
- Able to prioritise
- ICT skills-Word/Excel
- Proactive and independent, able to make decisions within their capabilities
- Interested in how a school operates and what is involved in keeping accounting records and monthly reporting
- Accurate, organised and consistent in their work
