This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our school. We are looking forward to appointing a hard working and motivated individual who will lead the front office administration function and provide a diverse range of secretarial and administrative duties for the Headteacher and other staff. The position is 36 hours/week, 4 days/week, year round and will start in September. 

This is a busy and varied role for someone who is pleasant and welcoming and has the capacity to remain calm and cope with the unexpected.

The main focus of the role includes the responsibility for day to day office management, HR/Personnel, and have line management responsibility for the school office small team and providing increasing support to the Headteacher.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be capable of multitasking and working under pressure
  • Demonstrate a friendly manner whilst dealing with parent queries efficiently
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Have excellent written and spoken English
  • Have good ICT skills, and be able to work with a variety of software packages
  • Provide an effective reception and general administration service
  • Previous school experience desired
