Job overview

The School Office Manager provides effective and confidential support to the Second Master and the Deputy Head (Co-curriculum and External Relations) and in addition ensures the smooth running of the School Office and provides line management to the Senior School Receptionists and the School Office Administrators.

The successful candidate will have exceptional communication skills and be highly motivated, organised and able to work under pressure to manage multiple priorities and longer term projects. A high level of proficiency in MS Office, including Word and Excel, is essential.

Previous experience of a similar role within education, legal or professional services organisations would be an advantage. 

This is a full-time, year round post. The hours of work will be 37.5 per week, Monday – Friday (8.30am – 4.30pm) with an unpaid 30 minutes for lunch and there may be an occasional requirement for work outside of normal hours. Annual leave should be taken during the PGS school holiday periods.

The start date will be mid December 2018.
