Description Successful applicant to work in a variety of settings within the College including Administration Office, Student Services, Reception and switch duties depending on need. Other duties as directed.
Position Requirements • Awareness and proven ability to uphold the need for confidentiality
• Willingness to support the ethos of the Catholic school
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite especially Microsoft Word and Excel
• Typing speed of 40 wpm
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including a pleasant phone manner
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively as a member of a team
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and to manage several tasks concurrently
• The ability to work tolerant of an interrupted working environment
• Experience in the operation of a busy phone system
• Capacity to communicate with and relate to senior students
Essential Criteria • Working With Children number must be recorded on the application
Desirable Criteria • Evidence of strong performance and high quality of work with previous employer(s)
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite especially Microsoft Work and Excel
• Knowledge and practical experience with the SAS 2000 School Administration and Finance Program
• Experience with Student Management Systems
• Experience in Schools Online
• Experience with a busy Switch Board – 10 lines

St Francis Xavier’s College is a mixed, non-selective, Roman Catholic, independent secondary school in New South Wales, serving students from the age of 11-18. The secondary school is situated in Hamilton, and has over 1,000 students on record.

St Francis Xavier’s College was founded in 1985 as a school to serve Catholic students in the local area. The school is currently being updated so that it can help fully cater for the needs of students with disabilities. St Francis Xavier’s College has modern learning facilities, including drama studios, hospitality kitchens, sports courts, well-stocked libraries and extensive outside grounds for sports.

Curriculum
