All Saints Parish School was established in 1989 to provide a quality Catholic Education to the students of Albany Creek, Eatons Hill and surrounding areas. It has grown into a medium size school of over 600 students.

This role is a dual role, supporting students in classrooms and also supporting the well-being of Defence children. A copy of the Defence Role Position Description is below. 

We are seeking a School Officer to undertake a range of tasks in supporting the needs of students, under the direction of the teacher, in our classroom.

Typical duties include:

  • General classroom support;
  • Preparation of resources and clearing learning materials;
  • Using technology to support learning activities; and
  • Administrative duties such as photocopying and filing.

Ideally you will have:
  • Previous experience as a School Officer and/or hold a minimum a Cert 3 in Educational Support;
  • Proven communication and interpersonal skills;
  • An understanding of the work of a classroom and a willingness to work as part of a team; and
  • You will also demonstrate an ability and initiative to apply your skills in supporting students to achieve successful learning outcomes.

To be eligible to be considered for this role you will:

  • hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement;
  • be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment; and
  • have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education.

Weeks worked:  School term weeks only (holidays unpaid)

Total Paid Hours (per week) & days required: 30 hours over 5 days

Salary level, range or hourly rate: School Officer Level 3: Hourly Rate: $30.97

Employment conditions: Diocesan Catholic Education Employing Authorities in Queensland Single Interest Agreement
