The successful applicant will:

We are seeking a School Officer/Classroom Assistant to undertake a range of activities and duties to support students in the classroom (Years 7-12), especially focusing on the Religious Education curriculum within the College. The successful applicant will display proven communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work effectively in a team and have proven ability to support students with a wide range of needs. It would be advantageous for the successful applicant to hold a Certificate 3 in Educational Support. This position is for 3 days per week.
Mt Maria College Petrie is a co-educational Secondary College administered by the Catholic Archdiocese of Brisbane through the Brisbane Catholic Education Office and is a member of Marist Schools of Australia. It is located next to Our Lady of the Way school and Church in Petrie. This position involves working with children. The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child related employment in accordance with the law.
