St Benedict's Primary School is seeking an outstanding school officer to commence in Term 2 2019. The successful applicant will be required to: 1. Assist developmentally appropriate student learning, either individually or in groups, under the direct supervision of teacher where limited discretion and judgement is required 2. Perform tasks of limited complexity, associated with classroom learning experiences, such as assisting teachers in preparing, implementing and supervising learning programs. 3. Establish good relationships with students acting as a positive role model and being aware of and responding appropriately to individual needs. 4. Promote the inclusion and acceptance of all students 5. Prepare and maintain equipment/resources as directed by teachers and assist students in their use. Previous experience as a school officer is strongly desired


St Benedict's Primary School at Mango Hill has a student population of approximately 700 students. We are a relatively new school which opened in 2008 in the outer northern suburbs of Brisbane (Mango Hill). Tenure Duration (If Fixed Term):   April 23 - December 6 (Term Time)

Total Paid Hours (per wk) & Days Required:   20 hours per week Monday - Thursday

Salary Level, Range or Hourly Rate:   School Officer Level 2

Employment Conditions:   Diocesan Catholic Education Employing Authorities in Queensland Single Interest Agreement 2015-2019


This position involves working with children.  The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child related employment in accordance with the law.
