Job overview

We are seeking to appoint a positive, enthusiastic and skilled Receptionist. The successful applicant will be the first point of contact for visitors, students, and parents. They will also be responsible for administrative and secretarial duties within the school office.

The successful applicant will have good people and communication skills, be flexible, able to prioritise tasks and have proven ICT skills. Experience of working in a busy front line, secretarial or receptionist role is essential. Previous experience of working in a school or educational setting highly desirable, although training will be given to the right candidate.

This role is 40 hours a week, 7.30am until 4pm with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break each day.

Bickley Park School is an IAPS Independent School for boys aged 2½ - 13: sisters of siblings also attend the nursery. The school is situated in London's greenest London Borough, on the fringes of Kent and with excellent train links to central London. The Pre-Prep and Prep sites are located three hundred metres apart on Page Heath Lane in Bromley.

Founded in 1918, Bickley Park has 400 pupils on roll.
