THE PERSON:
An experienced receptionist with a high level of English is required.
Applicants should be fluent in English (C1) and Spanish (C1).
They should value the importance of teamwork and be receptive to assisting and supporting in all areas of a busy school office.
The main focus of this role is reception duties and school translator.
The receptionist skills required include being able to think clearly, prioritise efficiently and communicate calmly and effectively in both English and Spanish.
A professional telephone manner with effective written communication and IT skills will be essential to the daily This includes proven ability to use applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher and PowerPoint.
The role of translator will involve:
- Interpretations, translations, meetings, phone calls, parents´ workshops, etc.
- The translation of documents, newsletters and letters into both languages.
- Any other necessary administrative work.
Experience of dealing with finance issues an advantage.
Regular first aid training is a requirement.
Staff in the administration department support the school in all administration areas to ensure school systems function effectively; reception, administration and student welfare. The successful candidate will join a professional, friendly and cohesive team.
