ISCS is a new British School that provides the Cambridge International curriculum to the whole community of Swiss and International students. Our school delivers quality education all the way from Reception to Year 13. We are building a strong community of students, parents and an ISCS Team of staff that are highly motivated, supportive of the aims of the school and work together to maximise opportunities for all.

This is an exciting time in the development of our school as we are growing in numbers year on year, thanks to the work of the team and our growing presence in the community. As a result, we are now seeking more excellent Professionals to enrich the Team. 

The Role

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Receptionist with a positive ‘can-do’ attitude and proactive approach to working on our busy reception. Duties will include being the first point of contact for students/visitors/parent/carers, managing car parking, first aid and supporting with administrative work when necessary.

You will join the administrative team led by the School Manager. The team is enthusiastic, flexible and determined to ensure that the academy runs smoothly. They have a strong, mutually supportive team ethos and regularly share ideas. The team is based in the administrative office in the school´s main building.

Previous experience within a school or other educational setting is an advantage. The successful candidate will have an approachable and engaging manner with the ability to communicate with ease with staff and students, good IT skills combined with the ability to work well under pressure to tight deadlines. It will be essential to have a high level of spoken and written german language. A good working knowledge of MS Office applications and excellent attention to detail is also needed. This role is great opportunity for someone who wants to make a difference to lives of young people and wishes to be part of an organisation that provides exceptional education at the heart of the community.

The International School of Central Switzerland (ISCS) is an independent, all-through, mainstream school following the Cambridge International Curriculum (Cambridge Pathways, IGCSE and A-LEVEL). Based in Cham, Switzerland, it teaches girls and boys from three to 18 years old.  The day school first opened in 2008 and has around 100 pupils on the roll at the moment. Class sizes are small, averaging around 16 pupils per room.
