We have a fantastic opportunity for a confident, friendly & flexible individual to join our administration team. This role can be arranged as a job-share.
The successful candidate will be a friendly, hard-working and motivated individual who will work as part of our administration team taking the role of receptionist in our busy school office. We are seeking an individual with the skill and experience to provide a diverse range of secretarial and administrative duties for the school, and to be the welcoming first point of contact for parents and visitors to the school. Mon - Fri: 8:00am - 3:30pm
This is a busy and varied role for someone who enjoys working with a diverse range people and has the capacity to remain calm and cope with the sometimes-unexpected nature of day-to-day life in a primary school.
They will be highly organised with good general ICT skills, be able to remain professional when handling confidential material, be an excellent communicator and ideally, have experience of working in a busy office environment within a school setting.
They will also be responsible for providing a professional and friendly point of contact for staff, pupils, parents and visitors to the school, ensuring that all enquiries are dealt with effectively and efficiently.
The ideal candidate will:
- Be approachable, warm and welcoming whilst remaining professional
- Have highly effective written and verbal communication skills
- Be able to use a range of web based and computer programmes to carry out administrative tasks
- Have excellent organisational skills
- Preferably have prior experience of in working in a school office environment
- Have a good general level of education
For those of you who are not familiar with the school, Cuddington Croft is a two-form entry primary school catering for 3 to 11 year olds, with just under 500 children on role. We are very well resourced having the benefit of an indoor swimming pool, a playing field and numerous IT and curriculum based resources.
