About the Position

Contract type: Full-time, Maternity Cover (9 months)

Working pattern: 8:00am to 4:30pm or 8:30am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday.

Salary: Up to £28,000 per annum

Start date: July 2024

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Creating a first-class impression and experience of the school as the first point of contact.
  • Managing the school admissions process, maximising the conversion rate of enquiries to registrations.
  • Efficiently managing the day-to-day office operations.
  • Some aspects of HR Administration.
  • Managing the Head’s diary.
  • Record keeping, maintaining organised and up-to-date staff and student files.

About you

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Proven experience in secretarial or administrative roles, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Strong organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Desirable experience

  • Experience of being a School Secretary would be highly advantageous.
  • Experience of Xero accounting would be an advantage.
